Remember Rogeline Exiomo

Hey Siblings,

I wanted to remind you guys that we are sponsoring a child from the Philipines. Her name is Rogeline Exiomo, and she is about our age.

When we send our money to her, it pays for her education and spiritualy growth. So please help sponsor Rogeline. Every penny counts!

I just wanted to tell you guys that we can’t sponsor this child on our own, but with Christ we can.

There is a high school student that is sponsoring 14 kids. This student gives up her time for these kids. She doesn’t ask her parents for money, instead she works summer jobs.

If 1 person can sponsor 14 kids, then I’m sure about 25 people can sponsor 1 kid.

“learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow. “                                -Deut. 26:12

Let’s stand up for Rogeline.

Keep your eyes on Jesus,

Faye Alano

Hi all,

As we’ve talked about in Sunday School, ALife Youth Ministry will be supporting a high school student who is a scholar of KBCF Operation Paglingap Foundation (KOPF) in the Philippines. Her name is Rogeline  Exiomo and she goes to Quezon City High School. We’ll find out more about her and you will also have an opportunity to send her an e-mail once I verify her e-mail address.  The organization that we are partnering with, KOPF, is a non-profit organization whose mission and ministry is focused on uplifting the lives of poor Filipino children and their families.  Not only do they provide financial help to them, they also help to lead them to Jesus.

We have this enormous opportunity to be used by God by helping Rogeline complete her high school education.  Our goal is to send $30 a month or $360 for the year.  By giving, we in turn will be blessed by God in many wonderful ways.  There are many ways to raise the money that we committed to give. Here’s some ideas :
- Save all the cans and bottles and redeem them for cash at recycling centers.
- Set apart a portion of your allowance or cash gifts for missions.
- Do a special chore in the house and in return ask for a donation for missions.
Each week in Sunday School, we’ll pass a plate to collect your offering. Josiah Intia is our designated treasurer and will be keeping track of the money.
I’m excited that even though you’re all young, you have this opportunity to make an impact in the life of another person.
For His Glory!

S.P.A.C.E.P.E.T.S. – Remember This!

Anyone can read the Bible. Not everyone knows how to apply it in their lives.  Here are some  insights to look out for as you read the Bible during your quiet time.

  • Is there a SIN to confess?
  • Is there a PROMISE to claim?
  • Is there an ATTITUDE to change?
  • Is there a COMMAND to keep?
  • Is there a good EXAMPLE to follow?
  • Is there a PRAYER to pray?
  • Is there an ERROR to avoid?
  • Is there a TRUTH to believe?
  • Is there SOMETHING to thank God for?

Notice that the key words form the acrostic “SPACEPETS”  so it’s easy to remember.  Studying the Bible is essential to our growth as Christian believers. Think of it as our spiritual food. By neglecting this, we suffer from spiritual malnutrition and we turn into lukewarm, defeated Christians.  Remember that God speaks through the Word. Spend time with Him through His Word.  Got any special insight from your quet time? Please share it by using the comment section.

For His Glory,

Tito Noel
